Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, and appreciated the robes, washer/dryer, comfy beds, coffee, etc…all the things one needs. I also love the driveway up to the house. Hey this was a great place to stay thank u soo much :) I got a gorgeous walk each day up and back to the ice lake plunge, with sauna and fireplace :) the supermarket one block away is soo super convenient and well stocked !! I loved the 24hr Burger King 5 min walk :) we went to ice hotel and saw the northern lights !! And was lovely friendly town to walk around !!! Everyone was soo cool and soo nice !!! Rovaniemi wins coolest town!!!!! And they have a great metal bar for live local bands :) Place is super spacious super neat ! Great hot water ! Great tv with Amazon Disney etc !! Super nice bed ! The place was exactly as described. Very clear instructions for check-in. The bathroom was comfortably spaced with 24X7 hot water. The kitchen was stocked with basic breakfast cereals. The host was responsive. Would come back next time I am in Roveniemi.

I had such a wonderful stay here in Rovaniemi. The location is perfect! everything is within walking distance and there’s a beautiful frozen river nearby, which made the whole experience feel even more magical and unique.The house itself was exactly what I hoped for.. clean, comfortable and very well-maintained. Nos ha encantado nuestra estadía aquí, al centro llegas caminando en 10 min, tienes supermercado y farmacia a poco metros, además cuentan con estacionamiento. El apartamento es muy cómodo, cuenta con todas las facilidades y aunque no tiene secadora, si lavas tu ropa se seca en una noche sin problema. El wifi funciona perfecto.

L'appartamento è confortevole, pulito e dotato di tutto il necessario. Si trova in una zona tranquilla, vicino al fiume, all'Artic Museum e a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro. È a circa 35 minuti a piedi dalla stazione dei treni. L'host è molto gentile e risponde velocemente. Il wifi funziona perfettamente. Se, come me, preferite dormire al buio, portatevi una mascherina perché purtroppo le tende non oscurano tanto. Ma dipende dalle abitudini personali. Comunque ci tornerei sicuramente.

We were very happy here! The apartment was beautifully decorated and the sauna was wonderful to warm up from the outdoors. Took about 10-15 minutes to walk to the main area of town. We had plenty of space to relax, and no problems working remotely here too. Perfect getaway. And very kind, helpful host as well! Thanks so much for everything.

Tan sols milloraria la neteja dels estris de cuina, que alguns tenien brutícia, tot i que va tenir fàcil solució! La resta d’apartament estava molt net i era molt pràctic. En tot moment vam rebre missatges per si voliem ajuda en algun aspecte i tot i no haver-ho necessitat, ho agraïm molt!

We had a great stay in Rovaniemi and really enjoyed this apartment. The place was very clean and exactly as described in the listing. It was also super comfortable and in a great location, with restaurants within easy walking distance, which made exploring the area very convenient.The host was wonderful, always available, friendly, and quick to help whenever needed. We did have a small issue with the hair dryer that unfortunately caused a bad smell in the apartment, but the host replaced it immediately. We just opened the windows for a bit and everything was fine afterward.There was also a minor issue with a loose cabinet, but it didn’t affect our stay. Overall, we had a very good experience and would definitely recommend this apartment to others visiting Rovaniemi.

Beautiful and well equipped house. We were aware that it's quite small and it doesn't has separated bedrooms. But it was easy to handle that for our family of four. The outside area was great with a sledding hill just in front of the door. The Sauna worked well and was a nice add on after a day in the winter of Lapland.

From arriving to fresh snowfall, to witnessing the aurora right outside on our final night, our stay could not have been more perfect. Such an amazing place. This cabin is in a stunning location surrounded by amazing scenery. We loved the sauna followed by a cold plunge in the lake aswell as watching the huskies pass by. We had everything we needed and the road was always cleared after heavy snow. We couldn’t recommend this place enough and it exceeded expectations. We were even lucky enough to watch the northern lights on the lake.

A wonderful stay in the heart of Rovaniemi. The apartment is very central, just a short walk from the city center and the train station, with plenty of restaurants and a supermarket nearby, which made everything super convenient. The place itself is cosy and comfortable, perfect for couples or anyone looking for a real home away from home. The amenities are modern and practical, and the apartment was spotless when I arrived. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rovaniemi. The con of the experience is the Check in requires to obtain the key for the apartment from another building which is 300 mts away however they state its fir security reasons.

This apartment is well situated and within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and activity tour offices (Safartica were by far the best that we had dealings with). The apartment was as we expected, very clean, tidy & unclutered. Impeccably decorated with all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to book again if I found myself in Rovaniemi. A very enjoyable stay!

En esta maravillosa cabaña disfrutamos mucho de sus comodidades, nos sentimos como en casa. Muy acogedor y exactamente como en las fotos. Pudimos ver las auroras boreales desde el porche, una experiencia increíble. Zona alejada, silenciosa y relajante. Los anfitriones contestan muy rápido y resuelven cualquier problema. Simplemente perfecto y muy recomendable, sin duda volveremos!!!

Host was nice and responsive. We had to wait 4 hours before we could checkin since we came by train. Everything is walkable. Nice grocery store and restaurants nearby. The home was clean and enough space for 2. The key is about 2-3 blocks over when you arrive. All in all I would stay here again!

They were also very responsive as all my questions were answered in a short period of time. Tem elevador no prédio, o que facilita a acessibilidade. A cozinha estava bem equipada com itens básicos. A comunicação com o host foi ótima. Sempre nos respondia rapidamente, dava informações detalhadas e se mostrava disponível para atender a qualquer necessidade que tivéssemos. Pudemos entrar um pouco antes do horário do check in, pois o apartamento já estava disponível, o que foi ótimo para nós.

Die Lage ist ideal, ruhig und trotzdem gut angebunden – perfekt, um Rovaniemi und die Umgebung zu erkunden.Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen. wir waren 1 woche dort. die lage ist super zentral und alles verlief unproblematisch. es war sehr sauber und alles gut beshrieben. sie war immer erreichbar auf dem telefon. die wohnung war sehr gross geräumig und sehr gut gepflegt!! einziger punkt was fehlt ist das es keine waschmaschine gibt. ansonsten alles top!! werden auf jedenfall wieder kommen. danke für den super aufenthalt und werden es 100% weiterempfehlen!!!

Avant notre arrivée, l’hôte a pris soin de nous envoyer tout le nécessaire pour que l’on puisse trouver le logement facilement ainsi que des idées d’activités à réaliser sur place. Le logement était impeccable et disposait de tous les équipements mentionnés. À notre arrivée, l’hôte a été soucieux de savoir si nous étions bien installés et s’est montré disponible pour toute demande. Le logement est très bien situé à Rovaniemi : il est à 5min du centre-ville, ce qui permet de réaliser de nombreux déplacements à pied. Nous recommandons grandement ce logement pour un séjour en Laponie.

Das Zimmer ist gemütlich eingerichtet und verfügt über eine Küchenzeile mit Mikrowelle und Wasserkocher, sodass man bei Bedarf auch selbst kochen kann. Die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr gut, da man nur einen kurzen Weg zum Bahnhof, zum nächsten Supermarkt oder in die Innenstadt hat. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht, da das Hygge Host Team uns freundlicherweise eine frühere Ankunft ermöglichte. Auch die klaren und ausführlichen Informationen zum Check-in und Check-out haben uns sehr gut gefallen und keine Fragen offen gelassen.Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen war der leichte muffige Geruch im Bad am zweiten Tag. Außerdem sind die Wände im Haus recht dünn, sodass das es hellhörig war.

Ski resort staff and organisation, teachers, lifts and amenities fabulous despite being a small resort. Walkable but also easy to drive and park. Pristine environment and can step outside into a forest walk or into the frozen lake. Jamsa nearby has lots of food options. So beautiful in the snow and hope to return in the summer. Had a wonderful two night stays here. The host was quick & responsive, including having someone waiting for check-ins. Overall apartment is great, in a safe & quite neighborhood. The room felt bigger than photo shows. Having washing & dryer is a huge plus. Didn’t get to try out the Saunas due to packed schedules. Nevertheless highly recommend this apartment.

Our stay in Lapland was absolutely unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible Airbnb host. As we were visiting with our 8 year old son the location close to two super markets and to the local mall was very important to us. The play area behind the flat also helped. They thoughtfully helped us plan our itinerary, offering tailored advice based on what we wanted to experience. From magical Northern Lights viewing spots to the best local tours and authentic restaurants, every recommendation was spot on. Their local knowledge saved us so much time and money and helped us discover experiences we might never have found on our own. They were always quick to respond, incredibly kind, and genuinely passionate about the area! We definitely recommend!

Es war wunderbar! Die Hütte ist sehr abgelegen und daher sehr ruhig gelegen mit einer wundervollen Aussicht. Man braucht definitiv ein (Miet-)Auto, da die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeiten eine halbe Stunde Autofahrt entfernt ist. Direkt vor der Hütte ist ein kleiner Hügel, auf dem die Kinder viel Spaß beim Schlittenfahren hatten. Die private Sauna ist wunderbar und auch den Kamin haben wir täglich genutzt, um die Hütte aufzuwärmen. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden und die Hütte ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Nur eine etwas höherwertige Ausstattung haben wir für den Preis erwartet.Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und schnell mit vielen hilfreichen Tipps!Insgesamt war es sehr schöner und gemütlicher Aufenthalt und wir kommen gerne wieder zurück!

Wir haben unsere Zeit in dem schönen traditionellen finnischen Holzhaus sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft ist ca. 50 Minuten von Rovaniemi entfernt, sodass ein Mietauto notwendig ist. Allerdings lohnt sich dies auch, denn die ruhige Lage umgeben von wunderschöner Natur ist es definitiv wert! Die Unterkunft entspricht weitestgehend den Bildern, auch wenn hier und da an den Fenstern etwas Farbe abgeplatzt ist, ist sie sehr gemütlich und traditionell eingerichtet. Die Sauna und die Feuerstelle draußen auf dem Grundstück waren unsere Highlights. Wir konnten sogar die Nordlichter von unserer Unterkunft aus sehen. Es war ein wirklich gelungener Urlaub und wir können die Unterkunft definitiv weiterempfehlen.

We had a wonderful stay here. The flat was so warm, cosy and the beds were very comfortable. The hot powerful shower was fantastic - especially after long days exploring in the snow. The flat was immaculate and the hosts very proactive in recommending local things to do and to see.The only mild downside was that the key is located at another building a little way down the road. It wasn’t a big deal but we arrived tired and with heavy bags and then had to walk again to find the key safe (my own fault for not reading the very clear instructions properly!!) Wonderful stay - would definitely recommend.

The only 2 things that I feel would make it even better are - The curtain in the bathroom could be longer so that the water doesn’t spread everywhere. Also, if a faucet could be added. But even without it, this place is totally worth it. So don’t look beyond and stay here.

The Villa was everything we hoped it would be and more. Beautifully laid out and great facilities. The sauna and hot-tub worked well and were a real treat. The house was cosy and tastefully appointed with everything we needed for a 4 night stay. Within 30 minutes of all of the activities we had planned but a welcome peaceful retreat after a busy day. Would highly recommend.

Hygge Host place was exactly as described, was easy to find and central for us as we moved between the train station and the centre. The only point I would mention as I was travelling with a young child, is that the key location is a 10 minute walk from the apartment, which can be tricky if late at night with a tired one! Otherwise as expected. Thank you!

Overall a great stay at the cabin! Has everything you need and then some! Location is private and quiet. Able to catch the northern lights just a few hundred meters away! It is about 50 km outside Rovaniemi but there is a grocery store about 7 min away. Would come back for sure!

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Der Host war ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und hat immer sehr schnell auf Fragen geantwortet. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist hervorragend – sehr zentral, gut erreichbar und ideal, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Restaurants, Einkaufszentren und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe, ebenso wie Abholpunkte für Touren und touristische Attraktionen. Insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft, die ich definitiv weiterempfehlen kann.

Amazing surroundings and very cozy cottage. Very nice fire place and sauna. Sleds outside for the kids and mommy and daddy felt like little kids again. Easy to travel and quiet with good privacy. Convenient vacuum cleaner in the cottage. Untill next time!

The hot water heater only allows for 15 minutes of showering; if you shower for too long, the water turns cold and you have to wait half an hour for it to return to normal. Aside from that, the room is large and very comfortable, and the landlord resolved the issue promptly. I look forward to staying here again.

Our stay in Rovaniemi was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we walked into the house, it felt more like a true home away from home. Everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully arranged to make guests feel comfortable and welcome.The kitchen had all the required utensils for us to cook comfortably, which made our stay even more convenient. It was also equipped with a very good dishwasher, making everything easy and stress-free. Every detail in the house was thoughtfully arranged to ensure guests have everything they need. Although we didn’t use the balcony because of the very low temperatures, it was very well maintained by the host and would definitely be a lovely space to enjoy during warmer days.The location was perfect — supermarkets are within walking distance, and the city center can be reached in just 15 minutes. It offered a peaceful atmosphere while still being close to everything and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rovaniemi ❤️

The flat was realy nice, clean, warm, affordable. The sauna was just what we needed after the cold days. Next to the flat there is a big supermarket, for anything you might need The host and the neihgbours were very nice as well.Very commutable location, few mins away form the city centre by taxi

Prévoir pour manger car les restaurants se situent à Rovaniemi (1h de route) mais un magasin à 11km est ouvert de 8h à 20h pour dépanner. Séjour exceptionnel pour notre part.

Spacious well equipped cabin in a peaceful neighbourhood. Skilift and slopes easy to reach and closeby. Great instructions and a friendly host. Can warmly recommend.

Great location and comfortable apartment. The hosts were quick to respond and very helpful.

We had a nice week-long stay and would book again. The apartment was as pictured, clean, and the bed was comfortable. A great feature was the private sauna, which we used every evening. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the balcony would be nice in warmer months. Check-in was straightforward with the host's guide, and we were even able to check in a little bit earlier. Communication was fast. When a flyer announced a mandatory window inspection by estate management, the host quickly helped delay it, and a housekeeper respectfully oversaw the brief 30-minute process. The location is in a quiet residential area near a park, a 10-minute walk to a K-Market, and a 20-minute walk to the city center. We found the walk pleasant, but keep it in mind if you prefer to be right downtown. Overall, a very good choice for a couple's trip.

Die Hütte ist sehr gemütlich und schön. Sie liegt sehr ländlich und ruhig in der Landschaft. Draussen hört man Vögel aber auch manchmal die nahe Hauptstrasse. In der Hütte drin hört man die aber nicht. Die Anreise ab Rovaniemi war gut beschrieben und klappte mit dem Mietauto einwandfrei. Wichtig, die Zufahrt befindet einige Meter vor der Adresse bei Google Maps. Die Hütte ist gut ausgestattet und gemütlich. Wir waren zu zweit dort. Mit mehr Personen dürfte es etwas eng werden. In der Küche hat es alles nötige. Auch einwenig Gewürze. Ein gutes Rüstmesser und Rüstbrett haben jedoch leider gefehlt. Um das Geschirrabzutrocknen empfehlen wir ein zusätzliches Geschirrtuch. Die Sauna heizt schnell und gut ein. Der Kamin im Wohnzimmer ist etwas wiederspengstig. Mit ausreichend Brennholz und Anzünder geht er aber auch an.

The apartment was super super clean. Cleanest airbnb I have ever stayed.Supermarket is only about 100-200m from the apartment, which is great. Walkable distance to bus stop that has santa express to santa claus village. Walkable distance to bus station for bus to snow hotel. Walkable to Arktikum too! As we enjoy walking alot, we even walked to Lordi Square ( where you can find great selection of restaurants) I will be booking with hygge host again if I ever come back yo Rovaniemi.

Die Wohnung war sauber und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter wegen der Schlüsselübergabe war hervorragend. 😞 - Den Preis pro Nacht finde ich im nach hinein etwas zu teuer. Die Küchenschränke könnten mit einem neuen Anstrich sehr aufgewertet werden. Das Geschirr war neu und sehr schön.

Meine Freundin und ich waren 4 Tage in der Unterkunft. Die Unterkunft liegt abgelegen an einen See was wirklich schön ist vorallem für Leute die ihre Ruhe haben wollen . Die Unterkunft liegt ca. 50 Minuten entfernt von Rovaniemi. Die Unterkunft bräuchte aber einmal eine grundlegende Grundreinigung vorallem in der Küche. Das Brennholz was zur Verfügung steht ist gut brennt am Anfang echt schlecht . Bei unsere Ankunft war kein Wasser in der Küche weil die Leitung zugefroren war. Hier wurde aber am nächsten Tag ein Handwerker organisiert der alles repariert hat und für die Unannehmlichkeiten bekamen wir auch noch 1 Nachr erstattet. Bei Minusgraden unter -20 Grad hat die Heizung leider nicht mehr die Power in der Hütte mehr als 18 Grad hineinzubekommen, hier sollte nochmal nachgebessert werden . Letztendlich mit ein paar Nachbesserungen kann man sehr viel schönes aus der Hütte machen 😊

one of the coziest and most beautiful apartments in Rovaneimi. had visited with my wife for a week, and couldn't have found a better place to stay. the house is clean, modern, well organised and located very conveniently. 10 mins walk to the city center and quite and peaceful neighbourhood. shootout to the hosts, they were very helpful with anything we needed, and were quick to respond to all questions. Will be booking this place again for sure!

Amamos el departamento, definitivamente nos sentimos como en casa. Muy cerca de todo, supermercados como a los 50 metros, al centro se podía llegar caminando sin problema, en realidad todo excelente.

A family of 7, fantastic home and location. The slopes are a short walk, we tried skiing, we went on the chairlift to walk down the national park, stopping to make s'mores near the reindeers. Views are spectacular which ever way you look. We went to luosto to feed reindeers. We went sledging ;we left 3 sledges for guests and there was around 7 in the shed)Everything was just perfect. The outlook from the lounge into the forest 😍 Driving was very easy and the van didn't skid and wasn't far easier than driving in the UK as the roads are straight and barely any traffic.We called off for shopping on the way there and mostly ate in to cater for the children, we did have waffles at the top of the ski slope though and called at the worlds most north McDonald's and had lunch in a local buffet cafe.We did everything Santa related with activities last year so this year came just for the snow and it didn't disappoint. No negatives at all other than wish we'd had longer than 5 days.

Lokalizacja jest naprawdę znakomita — przystanek autobusu z lotniska znajduje się tuż za rogiem, w okolicy są supermarkety, a do centrum miasta można wygodnie dojść spacerem. Dodatkowym plusem jest łatwy dojazd do wioski Świętego Mikołaja.Mieszkanie było bardzo czyste i zadbane, a stosunek ceny do jakości zdecydowanie na plus. Pobyt przebiegł bezproblemowo i komfortowo. Zdecydowanie polecam!

The sauna was really great!

First off, Hygge Host is extremely responsive and a wonderful host. We were proactively notified we could check in early and received a quick, clear, and friendly response on any question we had throughout our stay. The cottage itself is very peaceful, surrounded by woods. The sauna was wonderful, as well. We had a group of six and it was very spacious for us in the cottage. It was about a 10 minute drive from downtown Rovaniemi and ubers / cabs were easily available.

Excelente alojamiento en Rovaniemi, todo es igual a las imágenes y muy limpio, las instrucciones siempre fueron muy claras, además la ubicación es muy cerca del centro, por lo que puedes ir al centro caminando o tomar locomoción hacia la villa de Santa, vale completamente la pena alojarse en este departamento, sus anfitriones contestaban las dudas muy rápido, por lo que todo fluye muy bien al momento de contactarse con ellos, lo recomiendo al 100%.

The place is very quiet and peaceful, which made it a great spot to relax. We had a lovely time and truly enjoyed staying at the apartment.

Cannot imagine a better vacation in Finland anywhere else than here. The place looks even better in real life than the pictures. I don’t want to sound crazy - but this place - you cannot capture the vibe in a picture, nor a video. You just have to witness it. I will not give any spoilers. 10/10.

Everything is wonderful. Great location. Easy check in/out. Clean and cozy. Walk less than 1 minute to the bus stop going to Santa Claus Village.

The house is 30-40minutes from Rovaniemi airport. Not very far from santa clause village (by car). It is very peaceful and private cabin. The nearest grocery shop about 5-8minutes only from the cabin.The view during sunset is stunning. Host is very generous with firewood and you won’t be freezing during winter. I think these are some points that need a little bit of improvement;1. The cabin is actually smaller than my expectation. As a family of 4 with many luggages , it is extremely difficult to find good space to open up the luggage. 2. When we arrived at the cabin, it’s already dark, the cabin has no switch (from outside) to on the light which make it difficult to unlock the front door.3. The cabin has a second floor/attic with a steep stair. Extra care needed if you bring small kids.4. During night time, the indoor temperature rose significantly, making the room uncomfortably hot for sleeping.But overall, we really enjoyed staying at this place.

The location is great, only about a 5-minute walk from Rovaniemi city centre, which was very convenient.The host had excellent communication and even messaged to let me know the apartment was available earlier, which I really appreciated.The only thing I would suggest improving is the bed, as it could be a bit more comfortable. Aside from that, everything was well arranged and the stay was enjoyable.

Idyllic, magical, breathtaking, peaceful, heavenly, picturesque, romantic, priceless, great host. If I had 10,000 words I’d fill this review. One of if not the ‘best’ Air BnB we’ve stayed in. Utilise the Cabin as it’s a haven to relax in. Grab a shop 🛒’before’ you arrive as you could just stay here all the time it’s that relaxing. The surrounding area is like your own private peace of Narnia magic. Yes you can get Ubers as we did to Rovaniemi etc, average price €50 euro but that’s what it is to be staying in such an amazing place. It’s traditional sauna where we also bathed 🧼 and relaxed was perfect..! Jacuzzi for just chilling with a glass of wine 🍷 looking up at the stars and as we were lucky 🍀 enough to see the Northern Lights our reason for our trip. The hosts were excellent, always on hand to provide information or help. We will come back here one day and we can’t wait. It was truly a privilege to have been blessed with such views and to have found such a home for our stay ❤️?

We couldn't have loved this cabin more, it was perfect in every way. Situated on a frozen lake, which felt like we had all to ourselves, it was a little piece of showering very special and to top it off we got to watch Aurora Borealis putting on a spectacular show above the cabin and lake!!!And we were able to ice fish on the lake.You would never goes you were only 20 minutes from the airport and Rovaniemi centre, we highly recommend and would love to return one day.Bucket list ticked. We liked to stay in this place. Everything was great. Starting with check-in instructions and finishing with check-out. The apartment itself was clean and cozy, have everything you need for comfortable stay. The location is perfect if you don’t have a car - walkable to the city centre and train station. This apartment is very good. We had a pleasant stay. There are shopping malls and supermarkets nearby, as well as delicious Chinese food. Some aurora-chasing project collection stores are also nearby.
